This is a formal apology from me to thepayrollsite.co.uk. ***** / ***** got this host from hpHosts. It was with the impression that it was one of UK's gray hosts that take your money and either give you nothing at all or something substandard. Unlike a browser exploit or something else technical, this is hard to find without somebody having a personal bad experience with the company involved. This is something WOT contributors who don't have much technical expertise can help with. if you have a bad experience with a domain, report it. That kind of information is just as valuable as the technical side. On the technical side he only thing I found was that they had something that checks how you got to their web site (from Google, et al). I would never block somebody for doing that. The only possible reason I can see for them getting on anybody's list is because they MAY have involved themselves in an SEO campaign that uses email as one of the ways to do it. I have no such knowledge that they did this. Everything I have looked at points in the opposite direction. But if somebody does use email for SEO that could cause problems because some minor IMPs (Internet Mail Providers) may use the add.Risk portion of my hosts file in their mail scanners. But they would never do it without seeing if others also had the web site in question in their black-list. If the SEO firm was mailing from a stationary point this could cause their mail server to receive a flood of rejection messages. What the IMPs should be using is my add.Spam list instead. That is NOT a very big list. It only reflects my own personal email in-boxes. If I don't get it or somebody I don't know personally gets it, I don't have it in the list. It has only had one host that I didn't get. That one was received by hpHosts. If the host in the embeded URL in the email message leads to malware it goes into add.Risk, not add.Spam. Normally, that is all I am looking for. I assume everybody does what I do - mark it as spam and delete it. There are quite a few in add.Risk as you can imagine that came out of my email boxes. We all get it. THAT is what I am looking for in my email. There are a zillion fake Canadian pharmacies. A lot of them are in China or some place other than Canada, That is where those "rx" rules in my PAC filter came from. I guess there is a warning in this. Don't use email in your SEO campaign! Use hidden links in your HTML pages pointing to other web sites instead with them also pointing to you (you scratch my back and I will scratch yours). I don't do it. But I also don't block because of it. I have bigger phish to fry - ones that infect machines and rob you blind or try to track every place you go and what you do. All of this stuff I am looking at is what drives the rules that are in my PAC filter. The black-list I provide is a byproduct of producing the PAC filter. I am hoping that hpHosts has a simplified version of the PAC filter soon. When they have it implemented then I can retire. I am not getting paid to do this anyway. People need to make money to pay bills and survive.

I see no evidence of phishing (or any other issues) here.

Been using for a while, wanted to show support after seeing the negatives (which it seems were a mistake). I trust this site fully, they only ask for the minimum of data.
2
Listing in hpHosts was an F/P, and the site has been removed.
