Is toontowninfinite.com Safe?

The developers placed a RAT onto the server administrator to take control of the admin's Paypal account, racked up charges and forced the Admin to give up the server over to the Team of Hackers that run Toontown Infinite. For your own safety, avoid TTI at all costs!

My AV didn't seem to freak out about this, so there goes the virus claim. Of the two ToonTown remakes, Infinite has taken the most artistic merit and changes some things, while Rewritten is more or less identical to the version that went offline in 2013. Infinite is far more stable, though.

Since TTI's beginning, a lot of uncertainty has been floating over Toontown Infinite with the launch day's launcher. First the RAT scandel, then the Username and Password leaking (which, by the way, they recorded in a text file to abuse later), and more recently, the amount of NSFW language that gets exchanged between peers. If you are a parent who has a child that played TTO, please know that your child may "learn" some "adult-like language" a few weeks into playing. The developers are not emphasizing child safety - something that Disney was doing - so look for another private server more trustworthy and that won't have a negative impact on your children. Beware of TTI (Toontown Infinite)! There is no way to uninstall the game, either! It will stay on your PC for who knows what reasons... the developers never stated why this is the case.

Hear me out. Toontown Infinite is another one of those Disney Toontown Online private servers. It works out all fine and dandy when it comes to the actual game (minus the people). What is a problem, however, is the fact that there is a large amount of the player base that is bullying, harassing and otherwise typing out NSFW words out in public context during a play session. Toontown Infinite is currently a place where a majority of the mean and disgusting people have ended up going to (not referring to everyone but a large amount that I've seen hanging around in several playgrounds and partied with for some building runs). If you're a parent, I would carefully watch who your child speaks with while playing TTI, as many words are left unfiltered and you may find your child writing and learning about some nasty stuff at an early age (and potentially become a cyberbully).

Silly people who say its a RAT, that "proof" wasn't really good enough proof.. He had it installed on his desktop and MBAM was running, think about it, if someone is trying to prove something is a virus, they shouldn't have it installed first. Also, viruses from nullsoft installers aren't detected until it's actually INSTALLED. About the chat logs, they were obviously edited as it is easy to edit skype messages from someone else. Even google it. Everyone get their facts straight.

This here is the second project for the return of Disney Toontown online. While I used to trust this site along with the people. I recently founded out they RAT'ed one of their employees, and stealing code from TTR therefore this site, and game can't be trusted. I also herd one wanted to get some credit card details of an employee as well. My advice is to proceed with extreme caution. As the RAT may still be on the sever. Update: it seems the game is in open beta. From what i herd about it online it seems to be very slow and lagy, also there is no real way to uninstall the game. Therefor I'm now going to increase the ratting to suspicious, but I still can't fully trust the site just yet.

While the game itself is not a dangerous threat, the methods uses to run the Toontown Infinite game triggers numerous anti-malware programs because of the system security holes this application allows in. For the "official" hotfix they recommend, they want Admin permissions for the launcher. The launcher and game runs as Administrator, so, it has access to your ENTIRE computer and can manipulate any settings, files and / or devices each time you run the game! It may even send your browsing history and other personally identifiable information over the internet connection (Remember the Admin permission that was granted? It can do that too secretly in the background!). Free feel to make the decision yourself. Also, do note that there is no way to properly uninstall TTI from your computer if you do install it on. Be warned!

I'm going to have to give this website all of the reasons that apply to it. It has been proven that you will be given a rat just from installing this and it will go deep in your registry files. You cannot uninstall the program without using a program like REVO Uninstaller Pro since they made it so that it doesn't show up in the program list. Untrustworthy and not to be used or trusted.
