Is townhall.com Safe?

This is a website and print magazine that was published by the Heritage Foundation and is now owned and operated by Salem Communications. This site is a source of extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency, and/or is fake news. This is also guilty of falsifying information for the sake of their articles. Case in point: (https://townhall.com/columnists/mikeadams/2010/10/15/eight-straight-suicides-n766817) The last suicide in this article did not happen nor does the author Mike Adams offer any supporting links or documentation. As of November 2021, a study by the Center for Countering Digital Hate described Townhall as being among "ten fringe publishers" that together were responsible for nearly 70 percent of Facebook user interactions with content that denied climate change. Town Hall is a great news outlet which tells it how it is without the need to spin a narrative. I fully recommend it for independent free thinkers, who want to know whats going on outside the media bubble that is CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, NYT, Establishment Media Bias that is going on in todays news. Its a shame we can't just get the news. It always has to have a spin or narrative to fulfill a political goal within the Media Industrial Complex that is told what to say by the Political Elite Establishment Class (& thanks to Barack Obama & Joe Biden both of whom snuck deep inside the 2013 NDAA writing which essentially repealed the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948, making propaganda legal again in news media). Ever notice that they all say the same thing on political topics verbatim? Because its a controled script, given by either the Political Elite, or the "unnamed Sources" which are members of the Intel Community (CIA, FBI, NSA, DNI, JCS, Military Industrial Complex). Town Hall is one of the few news outlets who get away from all that nonsense.

Not as far gone as some right wing sites but nevertheless as Guilty of many of the same things it accuses the MSM of. If you're going to use it I would suggest you fact check what you read, but then if this is what you consider as unbiased (mis)information you probably won't bother.

This site is infested with massive amounts of spam, phishing scams which steal credit card information, and has a script which steals users browser history. Avoid at all cost. Some people have attempted to unsubscribe multiple times but the site doesn't allow it and continues sending people spam emails of its right wing fake news stories. Right wing zionist white supremacist christian fundamentalist pro-donald trump, pro-vladamir putin, pro-bashar al assad propaganda site. Teaches white American christians to wage a holy war kkkrusade against Muslims for the benefit of the apartheid zionist state of israel. The users on this site are far right wing extremist who demonize and label anyone who disagrees with their genocidal white supremacist/zionist christian worldview as being a "liberal", "leftist", or "terrorist". Promotes lies and disinformation to demonize Muslims and Islam. One of the main topics discussed is "taqiyah", which is the shiite art of deception and lying which Islam forbids. This site accuses all Muslims of practicing this shiite form of chicanery in order to convince non-Muslims to wage war on Islam and commit genocide against Muslims in the West and in the Middle East for the benefit of the apartheid zionist state of israel.

This is a Conservative news site, especially for US Politics. The views here are very biased and one-sided, oftentimes misrepresenting and demeaning the other side in a disgraceful manner. This is typical for news sources, however, especially Conservative ones. There is nothing bad with visiting the website outside of its content, as well as a couple pop-up advertisements and numerous trackers. I don't trust the site, but it's technically safe. Also, beware of signing up for the newsletter. I mistakenly did and still receive spam mail from them despite having been unsubscribed for a while now.

I subscribed to their newsletter a long time ago. They started sending emails constantly so I tried to UNsubscribe and they will NOT stop sending emails after multiple requests that they do so! I send them to my Google Spam folder now but they still manage to sneak through the filters every once in a while. I despise this kind of tactic and consider it to be harassment. Terrible ethics.

Great Opinion/Commentary site--yes, they are Conservative. It is Conservative in the same way that Huffington Post "News" is Liberal. The beautiful thing about America is our FIRST AMENDMENT. So, just because you disagree, please do not equate it with a "Hate Site". In America, we get to disagree without resorting to censoring "the other side", and stooping to schoolyard name-calling. While I do not agree with everything on this Opinion/Commentary site, I keep an open mind, and have actually been enlightened and prompted to do further research on certain topics, and been surprised. Good Conservative Opinion site....but do not like "straw polls" as I get junk emails after participation.

Sends spam. I signed up for the newsletter a few years ago and have since "unsubscribed" more than once, but I just got yet another one. Clicking Web of Trust's "Share your comment on Facebook" checkmark for The World (okay, the dozen peeps who read my Facebook page) to see. Spuck fam and the fammers who send it. Never mind, it's asking permission to access my friends list, bla bla bla. I MIGHT post this manually to Facebook.

Unscientific, fallacious claims on articles, extremist Conservative worldviews not based on facts. Great call on one person a page before this comment: "This never claimed a news site, it's an Opinion site". Which is exactly the truth: There are no so-called conservative "News", everything they do are opinions... and unpopular ones unfortunately.
