Is tracfone.com Safe?

Unprofessional and incompetent. Someone has registered my email here without my consent. I asked to remove it. They refused, asking me to call them. The working hours are exactly a night time where I live. So I should call them at night and spend money for international call? WTF?

There are pages that cycle you in circles especially on a phone browser where there are also dead pages (personal experience). Customer Service will make empty promises especially when selling a phone. Like telling you a phone can browse the entire internet when it can barely look up Wikipedia, As far as children go there are a few places they can spend your minutes (money) on things you may be able to get free elsewhere. Basically an OK site just don't put too much trust in them.

Using Tracfone for 8 years, last year I had my "Land Line" removed, that is how well, I have been treated. You get real bang for your buck - My wife has had a Flip phone for 2 years and I have a Slider for the same length of time. Beats having to be tied to a contract and it works.

This site is pretty easy to use and that makes it great since the service is so good on their phones. We get signals almost everywhere and can't remember the last time we had a loss or extremely low signal. If you get a phone with Double or Triple the Minutes, look for the Web only deal of 30 minutes for $9.99. If you do the math, your minutes will last a long time. Just be mindful of chit chatting and you will be fine.

We bought a TracFone as an extra cell phone for use on trips and aboard the boat and the phone was a name brand phone of excellent quality, sign-up was easy, adding minutes is easy and we have added a Mexican phone number for our friends down there who want to call us when we are in USA and not in Mexico. The cost per minute is relatively high compared to some other prepaid plans, but the phone we have has double minutes for life and using the discount coupons we got with the phone the cost is competitive. I made one call to Customer Service and the experience was professional and courteous.

They have fixed a lot of problems they used to have -- now you can transfer minutes from stolen or broken phones etc... but do not buy any of their 'fancier' phones because after trying 3 of them, I realized the basic bar phone is the only one that works. Don't buy flip phones or sliders -- they crash for no reason, replace texts with gibberish and take minutes away even if they don't send the text.
