TV Land (stylized as TVland and originally known as "Nick at Nite's TV Land" from April to December 1996) is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the Viacom Media Networks division of Viacom. Originally consisting exclusively of classic television shows, the channel now airs a combination of recent and classic television series (ranging from the 1960s to the 2000s), original scripted and reality series, and theatrically released movies. The network is headquartered at One Astor Plaza in New York City.

I think the site is good. However, TV Land is not what it used to be as a programing service. When TV Land first launched, (around the fall of 1996) shows were commercial-free, with minimal to no editing and no split-screens or voice-overs. Remember the old classic commercials called Retromercials, and the 24 hour programing! That's what I miss about TV Land. Now, the chopping up of shows, shows starting at strange times, split screens, and voice-overs, during a show's closing credits have forced me to go to Antenna TV and This TV, which provides a much better format for classic shows to be seen the way they should be seen. TV Land has not been the same since about 2003. However, the site is safe to visit.

Browser Exploit ***** The site and the TV channel suck. They cut the crap outta their shows to fit in more commercials. Altogether a sleazy outfit.

In the beginning, this network had a nice selection of classic sitcoms with limited commercials. Now, it's overpacked with ads and they schedule their programs in huge blocks where you'll be stuck with about 14 episodes of "Roeseanne" every night. Plain overkill due to corporate mergers that control program licensing.
