Is unclejimswormfarm.com Safe?

I made a purchase for 2lbs of red wigglers and 1lb of european night crawlers. The package arrived on time. The problem is that the red wigglers were infested with indian blue worms and the amount received was far less than 2lbs. The european night crawlers looked great, but there were not 1lb worth of worms. I emailed and called the the address and number provided, but I did not get a response after many attempts to discuss the order shortage. I would not recommend buying from this company or its other site "Garden Worms" for the reasons stated above. It is terrible customer service to ignore an order mishap.

I have made two worm purchases from Uncle Jim in past two years, the last this month. The first purchase arrived about two weeks late. Of course, the worms were dead and stinking. No fault of Uncle Jim's; the PO dropped the ball. Uncle Jim immediately sent a new order at no additional cost to me. My recent order arrived within a couple of days and all the worms were happy and wiggling. The website is very good and informative. Easy to navigate.
