spamming spammers spamming spamtraps ***** Ref: SBL202770 ***** is listed on the Spamhaus Block List - SBL ***** 20:14:30 GMT | ***** upromise.com IP hosts domain upromise.com. Owner of this domain is currently sending a MASSIVE spam run through ESP Acxiom. So far today the spam has hit almost 1500 Spamhaus spamtraps. :( List is filthy, consists of mixture of repurposed email addresses, at least half of them dead since before 2003, with typoed and other email addresses that were never real email addresses at all. Domain upromise.com was first registered in 2007, so is hard to think of way that this list could ever have been opt-in.

It started with a bad sign-up form that complained about the use of unspecified characters, presumably in the password field. No indication what the characters or bad fields were, just a cryptic error and a blanked form. I decided that between the privacy concerns with using a rewards for marketing site like this, and the poor signup experience, I would not do business with them. Now I recieve emails from them bugging me to finish the signup. The unsubscribe link in the email does not work: "Your email address to unsubscribe was not specified. Please click the back button in your browser and try again." There is not a place to specify the email address.
