Vermonters for a Clean Environment fight to protect Vermont's mountains for recreation and natural habitat. They recognize industrial wind turbine facilities, with heavy duty roads and site platforms, substations, and high-voltage transmission lines, as obvious threats to mountain environments. In fact, in Vermont, development of any kind above the elevation of 2,000 feet is essentially forbidden. VCE agrees that wind companies are not exempt from such limits.

It's unclear what the anti-wind bias of this site comes from, but it is accepting falsehoods as reality and spreading them. Likely just people who hate the look of them, and don't want them near them.
