Is verizonwireless.com Safe?

Verizon Wireless injects a unique header into customer web traffic. When the practice came to light last year, it was widely panned. Numerous security researchers pointed out that this “supercookie” could trivially be used to track mobile subscribers, even if they had opted out, cleared their cookies, or entered private browsing mode, but Verizon persisted, emphasizing that its own business model did not use the header for tracking. Placed an order today for an Apple iphone 6 plus in one of their Verizon stores today. Decided later to cancel the order. Went online and talked to customer service who told me they could not cancel the order, that i could only cancel with the store that placed the order. Was transferred by phone to the store and was told by the store that i could not cancel with the store but only with customer service and that no iphone 6 orders can be cancelled.i blew up and said bullshit. Called customer service back and am waiting for a customer service representative on a noisy bad connection.placed on hold repeatedly after the rep said she is reading the notes. Why do we have to take this crap from these mega corporations.There is no way Verizon should have such a good rating.The honest truth. I didn't curb my temper but "they can't cancel any Iphone6 orders? sick of the arrogance of these big corporations.

Did you know that if you go on their prepaid service plan, if you don't make at least one call in 90 days, they cancel your service, give away your phone number, and KEEP all your prepaid deposit. All with no notification what-so-ever. Yeah, that's an ethical company.

My last experience with this vendor was frustrating beyond belief. In the past I could sign on and within a couple of clicks block a phone number of someone who was annoying me. Now, it is a multi-step indiect process which I had to have a rep walk me through the first time, and I struggled with it the next time on my own. Each and every selection that should have led to this feature, took me instead to a page that was trying to sell me something. The free/included feature is now the tiniest notation at the bottom of a page and if bookmarked, the shortcut will not work.
