Is vindale.com Safe?

This website promises a small incentive for filling out surveys, but it stops right there with the promise. I filled out about 10 surveys and was credited for none. Now keep in mind, this is not something to get rich on. You get at most a couple bucks for surveys, but if you like filling out surveys, it's a little extra. Only downside, you will never see the money, because they don't credit you for any surveys you take. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this website.

I do surveys through Vindale and I have not gotten a bunch of spam nor have I been ask for my credit card information or anything like that. Sometimes, I do not qualify for surveys and sometimes I do. It just depends on what they are looking for in participants at the time. I wouldn't call it unsafe.

It's already been said. You keep answering the same stupid questions and are told over and over that you don't qualify for the survey, but there's another, ad nauseum. You can earn as little as 21 cents in 15 minutes. Somehow I never qualify for the $7.00 surveys. I don't take the surveys asking for credit card info. I actually took one that was fun. But mostly, it is a colossal waste of time. I have questions. Is this a phishing site? It's misleading in that it takes SO much time and offers SO little in return. I didn't know you had to earn $50.00 before you got paid, and I don't know if you do get paid. I don't think I'm going to stick around to find out.

opinion always matters. If you expect nothing or nothing you will get it. So it is here. These guys are guilty of low-balling, as well as bait and switch tactics at the expense of their participants. I suggest that you stay away. It won't take long for you to find out yourself, regardless of what information you share with them - after all, they collect survey information - which means advertising behavior and the like. Of course, they will tell you that nobody under 18 should use this website.

This is the first time I have posted my comments on MY WOT. When I went to Vindale to do a survey today, and it was showing up with a red rating - That told me, I need to take a look - Vindale is just one of the many sites I use on a daily basis, and have used them for many years on and off.They have never sent me spam nor have they ever sold or given away my personal information. May I also add some days I just don't qualify for surveys. I always look at it as the luck of the draw!! LOL..Really it is all depending on what the company is looking for in that certain survey. So in my opinion this is a great company to work with.

I received their email asking me to subscribe as a reviewer. It sounded good, so I filled out several pages of questions and was ready to sign up. But I took the time to read the contract and saw at least one clause that persuades me that they are at best a scam type operation, if not an illegal one. The problem for me is that they require that I provide them with a CREDIT CARD number to register!!! I do reviews for other sites and have was asked for such. I read on and found that the reason the card is necessary is to protect the company from any defrault I might make when I BUY SOMETHING to review! That's how they work. THe reviewer has to buy something himself and then does a review of it. That review is submitted to Vindale and if Vindale approves it, it will be posted, and Vindale will finally pay the amount offered. But note: they don't front ANYTHING. The reviewer does it all and if Vindale disagres with something the reviewer does, that's just too bad. STAY AWAY FROM THEM if you want to avoid potential headaches! They may be fine for some people, but I advise you stay away from them for this reason.

Almost always when I have accepted an email invitation to take a Vindale survey I have wasted time answering questions, only to be informed that I do not qualify. I filled out a questionnaire initially, so Vindale does not have any excuse for sending me invitations to participate in surveys for which I do not qualify. Meanwhile, they have harvested data from my answers to the "qualifying" questions. And then, there's the payment rate. $1 for a survey that takes 15 minutes?

in order to do the surveys you have to do the studies section... also use your unique link to add people.. you will get 5 a person.. funny I make about 50 a month from vindale not giving credit card or info like that.. I never signed up for anything either.. I just do surveys.. yes it is time consuming etc. ive even done product testing for them too.. remember the studies section.. not survey section.. survey section is where you have to sign up for those stupid things and give out info.. also paypal is much faster then check.. you get paid the 15th and last day of every month..
