Is w3fools.com Safe?

The site is ok, but they give a link to ***** as if it were the official place to get help. But when you go to the site and do a search for "tutorial" you get a "Phrase not found" error in your browser, so that site is worthless as far as I am concerned. Next they give a link to ***** This site has a section on the bottom whick says "Not Ready - HTML". So if they are not ready why bother? I clicked on their HTML link anyway to see what I could get. The link takes you to a page titled "The Basics of HTML". This looks promising, but right away they start talking about Microsoft Word and Excel, and concepts like metadata and user agents. Really? So now I've got 2 weeks to put together an HTML project for the first time, with my boss breathing down my neck and I want to read this cr*p? Then they show you some sample HTML code, but do not tell you what software to use to enter the code or how to execute it. Compare this page with the beginning page at ***** and you will clearly see that w3schools is much better. So, no more bullshit comments about which web site is better for beginners. Just go to ***** and give them a try. You will QUICKLY see why they rank the top of Google's serch engine. They don't rank top by accident. Google is not stupid (well, kind of). But at least in this case they rank ***** on top because it has a proven track record.
