adware. Webroot uninstalled it

This browser hijacker tries to install toolbars and unnecessary things onto your computer, known as bloatware. Don't recommend.

Adware that comes bundled with software.

Somehow this ended up my Google Chrome new tab page. I recently had Block and Surf forcefully installed on my system, which caused MalwareBytes to pick up a few related threats. I think this may be one of the affects.

infests your system including the registry, almost impossible to remove, installs itself without permission, reinstalls itself without permission. Is bloatware, malware, adware etc.

Installs unwanted programs and software without your consent such as adware that are sometimes difficult to remove and annoying. This site installs browser add-ons that contain nothing but ads. Avoid this site and do NOT download anything from here!

Installed without consent, another data mining op.

This happened with me while downloading CNET software. -BUT- I realized how I did it by accident. I wasn't given the option to 'uncheck' the additional options, so I thought I had no choice but to download the xtras. (the xtras were the malware) I had the choice to either >Cancel< the download or to >Decline< -and I thought if I hit >Decline< it would stop the download also. Choosing to >Decline< will skip you to download only the wanted software from CNET. So CNET is sill very trustworthy in my opinion!

Junkware that they sneak onto machines that they also attempt to make difficult to uninstall. TERRIBLE!!

This stuff is exceedingly malicious, and not only works itself deep into the file directory structure and registry, but it also installs and works with additional stuff under other program names. I am a computer repairman, and just yesterday I had quite the interesting experience with a machine that was brutally infested with this stuff. As I was removing all of the septic things from the machine, Wajam popped up again and again, both as an individual item and paired with what might appear to the unwary as completely separate and distinct entities. Once inside the machine, all browsing is crippled with redirects to unsavory places, and attempts to browse to web pages that provide information and software to remove this toxic sludge will invariably be deflected to misleading or even more toxic webpages. It's nasty stuff, and it's clingy. Scrubbing it out of a computer is a non-trivial task. The multiple installations continuously check on one another, and should any of them be stopped or removed, they will be respawned from the other running processes in this squirming thieves nest of malicious code. The array of malicious software associated with Wajam extends to separate programs installed in multiple locations in the Windows file system, separate browser extensions and plugins, and an amazingly deep and wide-ranging set of registry entries. Trust nothing whatsoever from the Wajam mothership regarding uninstallation, and for that matter, do not go there at all, as you are putting yourself at risk for additional infestations of malware.

Wojam was installed without my permission, I have never had notification.
4
Installed a browser extension without permission, adds lots of files without permission, very hard to get rid of without using Revo Uninstaller. Looks very shady in general.
4
Installed as a addon without my permission.

This is a spam, popup, adware pile of junk. My son downloaded something from cnet and this was an "add-on" he was too young to understand. Definitely not something anyone would want on their computer. Just trying to use google you end up with a half page of "ads" from wajam, before you see a single valid search result.
