Awesome website for affiliate marketing education. The web hosting service is also pretty decent.

I find people who can't navigate simple terms or understand what affiliate marketing really is actually calling things scams because they don't understand it. Scams steal information. Scams provide nothing of value for your money. Even if I canceled my membership tomorrow, I had hosting for over six months at a fairly reasonable rate, and that doesn't include everything else on Wealthy Affiliate platform. I highly suggest people look up the definition of scam before they label websites as such. I've been highly satisfied with the quality I've gotten for so little money. I've also never been a victim of a scam before because I know what a scam is and how NOT to put forth money or visit websites that are actually suspicious. If I fail, it's on me. I have a friend earning thousands a month now there. Shrug. It's an opportunity to learn and build a business, not a guarantee.

Awesome site. Teaches you how to really earn money online.

I see a lot of 'textbook" complaints from people who PRESUME Wealthy Affiliate is a "Get Rich Quick Scam." Let's see: Milliem and Destinned look like the same person popping in 2 bad reviews about an organization they (obviously) know nothing about - let me guess.... he/they promote a different company and they're knocking the competition? Twice to up the knock? Darius9.9 calls Wealthy Affiliate a "scam" because he couldn't get a refund. Wealthy Affiliate does NOT pay refunds. They give you 168 hours (and more if you ask nicely) to decide if you want to join as a paying member or not. You are WARNED - "WA does not pay refunds." Complaining that WA does exactly what it says it does (ie not pay refunds) is moronic. Scamwatch: Oh look - another who knows nothing about WA, but blames the entire United Nations for actions of one of UNWRA's cleaners not cleaning the bathroom to HIS personal satisfaction! Wow - I'm impressed Scamwatch! :-| Wunzy: Reads just like Scamwatch above just longer. Wealthy Affiliate does not send out soliciting emails. Some affiliates might. Wealthy Affiliate is also not an 'affiliate policing organisation' - COMPLAIN TO THE SITE SENDING YOU THE JUNK! Then name ONE BUSINESS that does not have ANY scalliwags? ...Volkswagen? The legal profession? The banking system? MyDLDmarketing: Oh. More disgruntled competition telling LIES about WA. Wealthy Affiliate makes the signee only ONE promise: IF you follow the courses AS INSTRUCTED, IF you do the work AS INSTRUCTED, you will succeed - it will take you about a year. Take any false claims up with THE PERSON WHO MADE THEM! Designbuyers - What 48 hours? Your first 168 hours with WA are FREE. No charge. Zip. If after your Starter expires you then sign-up you are warned "No refunds!" It's hardly WA's fault if you can't read or understand warnings. And BTW, if your 48 hours means you signed up to premium before your 168 Free Starter was up then you were billed for your first month at less than half price.... thanks for mentioning that? Andreiion: Try not being such an idiot. Complain to the site sending you the junk - better still, direct it to SPAM in your email and ignore it. WA does not police its own or other affiliates! ... Do you know what an affiliate is? - - - - - - - - WA is an online training platform that TEACHES people how to build websites and market those websites. That is ALL it is and yes, you pay for the indepth training if you continue after your free account expires. ...Do you expect to get a lifetime's training and support in this fast ever-changing world of SEO for free? Before paying a cent WA offer you 2 FREE websites and 168 hours FREE training for you to check it out and see IF you want to join as a paying member. Whether you stay or go - those websites are yours to keep. (No - if you leave you will then have to pay to host them yourself.) IF you join there's a monthly fee which is not refundable should you later decide to cancel your membership. Yes. I am a Wealthy Affiliate affiliate. After researching a great many of these affiliate training programs available on the net, I selected this one:- BECAUSE OF THE LEVEL AND QUALITY OF TRAINING - AND THE INTERACTIVE COMMUNITY SUPPORT GIVEN. It is a decision I have yet to regret - and don't ever expect to. I have never met a kinder, more helpful bunch of people anywhere else in my working life. No cat fighting. No back biting. No bad-mouthing. Just genuine help. Because the system set-up rewards members who help other members.

The site clearly states it is not a "Get Rich Quick" so all those claims are now eradicated. In summary Wealthy Affiliate is: A community based upon helping people learn affiliate marketing. Whether it be promoting wealthy affiliate or creating their own completely different website and joining other affiliate programs like Google Adsense or Amazon. It makes no guarantees, just guarantees help and training. Of course they hype you up for the potential to make money because so many people actually do make ridiculous amounts of money online. There is a free membership and the premium membership ($49 a month) gives you access to online chat, private messaging and way more training videos, and some other extras. Free membership, is actually free, meaning it costs nothing to join. No credit card required . Before I joined the first thing I did was google if it was a scam. I came to my conclusion that it was a legit site. You can still have two free websites with the free membership, you just can't interact with the community for help or get extra video training...plain and ***** honest review from a new member. I joined to make my own blog, but then learned about how to monetize a website. If I don't make money that's my fault for not creating valuable content and joining the right affiliate programs . I hate when people bash other sites as a scam just because they didn't make money. It's a BUSINESS! Just like if you bought a franchise like subway, if it fails and you lose money are you going to call it a scam? NO. You just failed at the business, like many successful people have done to get where they are at. The only upsell is the premium membership, which is really 24/7 live support and training from people that actually make money online.

Site teaches readers how to build their own websites. The service is free as well which is a bonus.

Get-rich-quick scheme advertised by unsolicited email.

I joined this site a month ago. I was so amazed by the welcome and how large and active the community was. I signed up premium after 90 minutes, and going one month into this. I would say this is the best decision I have made in my life. Reading all those reviews prior to mine, I really cant' understand we even talk about the same service. Neither did I have problems getting a refund when i misclicked. (twice!)

promises promises promises after paying over $600 and spendiing even more (close to $4000) to "learn affiliate marketing" and make less than $400 in one year. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP. it is a plain rip off. and canadian based. the only ones making money are the owners of this "university".

Even after unsubscribing from their emails, they continue to send email. There's no way to make them stop. This means that clicking "unsubscribe" DOESN'T remove your email address from their list. They want to be able to continue to hit you up for more money and they can't do that if they've deleted your email address! These are the actions of unscrupulous, amoral businessmen. It's shameful behavior.

They are pissing me of with emails and have no possibility to tell them to stop.

I have request refund after 48 hours of signup and they said that they do not refund as its like no one else is register and they steal the money even if customer is unable to become satisfied from the services. Here is the message : "Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds at Wealthy Affiliate, and we outline this within our disclaimer that you agreed to upon signing-up. The reason we do not offer refunds is because we offer so many services with Wealthy Affiliate once you become a member, including various downloadable material as well as Kyle and Carson's full support and mentorship. In saying this, Kyle & Carson would be more than happy to help you out during the remainder of your membership, so if you have any questions, please let me know. "
