I can confirm that these claims of malware are invalid. I just downloaded their Free PDF Extractor and found no unusual behaviour during installation or afterwards. Plus, VirusTotal came up with no detections.

I downloaded the pdf parser from weenysoft. Software wasn't what I needed, but no spyware - I did a double full scan afterwards. Don't know where the other poster got his spyware - maybe he downloaded through cnet?

Useful tool. And I haven't seen any spyware installed with it.

I try to be fair. The software "may" work, but the spyware (that is referring to items that "demand(!!!) to be installed, even when "unchecked" during installation) prevented the program from being used unless I said OK to the spyware (you may call it something else, but whatever you call it, it was vicious and pernicious and refused to let me even use the program unless it was installed). I repeatedly refused to let the "added" networking program install (NOT a part of the actual program I wanted to use for "free"), but it kept returning, violently trying to take over. In the end I uninstalled using Revo and Ccleaner and Glary and went through everything by "hand" and made sure it was off my machfine. It was a terrible experience and left me with a really bad feeling about the entire Weenysoft organization. I even have "snapshots" of the vicious behavior. If you really want the programs and are willing to put up with the spyware (my term), then go for it - otherwise RUN!!!
