It includes invaluable daily updates of news from around the world, several dozen informative videos, a frequently added-to resource library, and more. Good site, informative. Site gathers information from around the world. Information comes from newspapers, letters, opinion, etc. The site is seemingly being downrated by those who are afraid of freedom of speech, when a viewpoint does not agrre with their own agenda.

The only bad marks I've seen for this site are from people ranting their political views are just spewing hate. Intolerant fascists that HATE anything that doesn't agree with their preconceived ideas. There is noting dangerous or bad about the site itself. Just some close-minde, hate-monger trolls cant stand information that doesn't fit their agenda.

I am sick to death with WOT being hijacked by Crypto Marxists EcoTards mis rating a site due to their ideology. They try all the sleazy methods available to close down debate. The lack of impartiality on political opinions is killing WOT We need a different item to distinguish between REAL safety, eg. viruses, child pornography, phishing scams, other malware, and supposed POLITICAL safey as determined by the EXTREME LEFT that is HIJACKING the Internet.

Although I appreciate WOT for many things, I strongly disagree with their policy of allowing censorship based on personal biases. This site is rated poorly, not because of anything other than personal (and most likely, organized) politics. I was so hoping that WOT was about something more noble...

The site is safe and secure to visit, uses SSL encryption, and is managed by volunteers, some with a scientific background, who are currently highlighting issues connected to wind energy developments. This site is an anti-wind advocacy site that will use anything to attack wind turbines, no matter how biased, weakly referenced or unscientific. It ignores and disparages major, peer-reviewed, independent studies on wind turbines and health that show no health impacts in favour of unpeer-reviewed material that finds health impacts. It is a source of anti-wind, negative propaganda, not information. Anything from this site must be considered biased and likely to be inaccurate in source and conclusions. It is not acting in the best interest of the region or people it professes to be working for, despite undoubtedly good intentions.
