Excellent site, well maintained and managed.
I have been using their client for over a year and have had no drama's.
It's well known that a break-away group from the site have been trying to tarnish their client credibility. This client is the most popular client in Minecraft and 98% of users joining my server use this client.

Nice site, the client isn't dangerous, it has nice admins/staff, a nice forum, and I post some Minecraft skins there too.

When I tried the client it did not work and my Minecraft account had the password changed by somebody other than myself soon after using it. I had to recover the account.
This makes me believe the client is a phishing scam.

Both sites seem legit and safe to use, neither is involved in any phishing scam.
There was an argument between the developers of the WoM client and so they split up, resulting in 2 sites for the same program with minor differences.
Unfortunately people have taken sides and now users from one are hating on the other even though the developers have settled down.

Minecraft at it's finest describes this in every way. These kind folks made their own client for Minecraft which functions as a cheat, allowing its users to fly, go through walls and the like. However, owners of Minecraft servers are allowed to put tags in the title such as -hax, -noclip, and +ophax, which will disable the cheats, or only give them to Moderators. To be able to do pretty much anything in the World of Minecraft servers, you have to create an account and show the community how you stand out from the rest.

To be able to do pretty much anything in their servers, you have to create an account and explain to an admin how you will benefit the community. Minecraft at it's most bureaucratic.
