Very poor customer service. My daughter's laptop is 3 months old and Dell Media Connect Manager screwed the system by wiping the C drive.
Dell's response: We don't cover MS Software, and as I pointed out Dell’s custom MediaDirect partition (their pathetic attempt at media center software) was invoked this which I got from the error codes on the BSOD. This is NOT MS Software but Dell's own!
I will be taking advice on this and pursue this further as Dell want to charge to replace a drive that was erased by their own software!
Advice: DON'T BUY DELL
