Is www.deviantart.com Safe?

I just don't know what happened to this website, it used to be very beautiful and helpful in first years, used to use it everyday but now it's rare to login bcuz it's become full of smugs and hentai lovers whom called themselves an artists and don't even care to use a +18 content warning. Also last year, my PC got a trojan virus from a win7 theme files and it wasn't a false positive, i know what i'm doing. I don't recommend it now and for sure not for your kids.

The site is full of hateful ranters. Also although there is a mature content, many people ignore that filter and post gore and nsfw (not safe for work). The community is terrible. It's full of hackers, scammers, thieves, ranters/bullies, bad people in general. Honestly there are way better art sites than this, so don't ever trust deviantart.

Virus Total's Detection ratio: 1/65 Virus total anti-virus engine: "ParetoLogic" Detects this as a "Malware site" Tried to give this site another chance, since unblocking it, my browser and computer experiences lag possible malware or drive by virus infection. Will not unblock this site again.
