google maps is great, clear and concise

i love google maps. i don't know how many times i use it a day! it's great for mapping walking (and now cycling! whoop!) routes as well as car and public transport. more and more i have been using this instead of TfL for London transport..
It's also great for finding things close to you, like restaurants or shops. you can even review them in google places on google maps. i don't know what people did before google maps!

Good map service from Google.
OpenStreetMap is another free map service which I like - it's similar to a traditional map and clearly labels footpaths, train tracks, train stations, etc.

can have very innacurate maps. eg the whole clowne/whitwell area is wrong on a certain zoom level. i know its a small area, but railway lines do not just disappear, and there are not roads intersecting through houses. it is quite accurate in larger population areas though.

They can now find out wher I live by tracking my IP address. Luckily for me my IP isnt linked to any address.

Not the best map website, since sites such as streetmaps and ***** exist, but nonetheless, a decent map site.
