Is www.secretshopper.com Safe?

As with several other respondents, I don't understand the negative ratings. The company does not spam my mailbox, and only sends e-mails with open shops in the general area. I have done several shops and found the reimbursements timely and correct. In my opinion the entity runs a legitimate and honest business, provides immediate feedback to shoppers' questions, and makes timely and correct payments for completed shops. There is nothing about the entity nor the operation which would deserve a negative rating, and no, I am not a shill for the company.

Hard to gauge actual website, there are some good comments on the web. The problem is that they still use genuine spam tactics (unsolicited mailing, phishy tactics, no opt out, funky grammar, suspicious email address). If this is a legit company, they still spam. Good or not, I reported them as spammer.
