Fake UCE/UBE (SPAM) blacklist that claims it is a legitimate business. It erroneously lists large network blocks that have never sent SPAM as malicious hosts and provides no way to remove them unless you PAY. This is extortion and not a legitimate service. Its goal is to list as many IPs as possible and therefore extort as much as possible from large cloud providers and ISPs. This 'service' doesn't make the Internet more secure; it is an extortion racket.

This "spam blocking service" is blocking entire blocks of fixed ips and asking for money to de-list those.

Blacklisting the whole subnet? Asking money for de-listing this subnet? Seriously, just because "even if its a true positive" I am (good rep in senderbase, never been blacklisted, 4*4 up-to-date settings etc) in the same subnet with some spam-lovers, why do I have to deal with these kind of issues? If you are talking about respected and reliable service, you shouldn't be blacklisting whole block and asking "nice" amount of money to delist.

High quality DNSBLs. With free rsync, which is almost unheard of nowadays that eveyone wants to sell a datafeed. Very low false positives, very low false negatives. They are one of the good guys.

I think Sysadmins shouldn’t use this blacklist, because of too many false positives it produces. In my opinion this company isn’t better than the spammers, because they charge about 50 EUR for express delisting. Otherwise you have to wait SEVEN days. As far as I know no respectable blacklist for example spamhaus or spamcop, offers payed express delisting and after 24 hours you get delisted automatically. At ***** they offer another “serious” product. If you pay you get whitelisted. “Registration is available for 1 Month (17 EUR), 6 Month (35 EUR), 12 Month (52 EUR), 24 Month (87 EUR) .”

Is it just me or do other see any contradictions Some people tell lies and myths about us The most frequently told lie is that a listee will not be removed until they make a payment. There is a payment option available for any listee that does not want to wait 7 days but needs to be de-listed immediately.

Questionable removal policies.

Spam Block list. Blocks very wide range of addresses, causing massive false positive rates. Request payment for delisting, even from IPs that never sent spam. Avoid.

Those claiming this would be extortion or scam are either spammers that try to badmouth UCEPROTECT or they are just too stupid to read what is written on that website. Every IP temporary listed expires FREE OF CHARGE 7 DAYS AFTER THE LAST ABUSE is seen from an IP. For those that doesn't want to wait for the automatic and free expiration an optionally expedited expressdelisting is offered for a charge. Why should the guys at UCEPROTECT do manual work for lamerz that did not secure their network in first place free of charge? They clearly shouldn't. The lists are available free of charge and it is really annoying that those that gave bad comments expect free support for a free product. They question is why do these guys not offer to work for the project free of charge? If they would do so, then it is unlike that UCEPROTECT would charge for expedited manual delistings. Anyway what UCEPROTECT does is neither a scam nor extortion.

All those whining spammers on the net giving public proof how good our free service is and how many people are using our blocklists. Try yourself but be sure you have read our usage recommendations and policies for all levels.

Thank you for spanking spammers and their supporters.

They are very helpful to the community. I really appreciate their good work. The list are also free for commerical usage and also for redistribution. No other anti-spam service allows to do so and free of charge.

Any RBL that can Block complete subnets to due a few Spammers, and then ask for Money to de-list, is a scam and should not be used and shut down!!!

A wonderful service! The only people who don't like it are the spammers, which is just fine with me.
