Das Programm enthält die Adware OpenCandy.
Das Ding wird einem zwangsweise untergeschoben und muß manuell bei jedem Update wieder entfernet werden.
Das ist lästig und eine Zumutung.

Ja ja, wer so lügt und dem Anwender schon bei der Installation Toolbars und Co. (u.A. von Web...) unterjubelt, ist absolut nicht mehr vertrauenswürdig! Es gibt Alternativen (sogar weniger fehlerbehaftete Software).

Seriously Web of Trust isn't quite what it says on the label. Looking for a YouTube download tool. Found this and, hey, WOT approves. So, happily, I decide to download it.
How the hell can you approve of something which one of the most reliable sites on the internet (http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/finally-free-flexible-youtube-download-works.htm aka Gizmo's freeware) says
Caution! Youtube Downloader HD is bundled with OpenCandy. It will attempt to download unwanted components and change your system settings.
Not only is it bundled with Open Candy but whilst trying to install it, this is what happened : link to screenshot

Not only did they try to bait switch me into installing some crappy tv thing but they made it impossible to see what you were agreeing to. That box doesn't expand, no way. You can't unclick that option that is agreed to by default.
How is this ok ? Who on earth reviewed this as an OK thing ? I'm bloody well tired of this sort of nonsense everywhere I go on the internet. And it takes time to bother to report a bad site. The ones who give it a favourable report ? either tech numbskulls, paid reviewers or employees of dodgy site. Why the hell else would they not give people a warning.
You should check out your reviewers a bit more WOT. Oh well, back to where I was about 40 minutes ago - trying to find a good downloader for YouTube. B Montenaro
