Is zcorp.com Safe?

They use false advertising, the printed results are a mere decorative item, far from a "high performance composite material". For a professional machine, the printing resolution is sub-par, color definition is o.k., but nothing more. Z Corp released a video where they show how they "duplicated" a wrench. The "used" a 3D scanner to scan a wrench, then printed one to tighten a bolt. While no part of the video made false claims, the wrench printed was not the one scanned, but one that was ready-made in CAD. Also, they did not show that the wrench broke as soon as they tried to tighten the bolt more than you could with one finger. The printed parts can not be used as a "rapid prototype" and often are non-functional (as in serving a purpose), while moving parts can certainly be achieved. The material just is too weak and brittle to be useful at all. So seriously, these are great machines if you have money to burn and want to print out expensive (per part, that is) decoration, but if you expect any more or anything Z Corp is trying to make you believe, you are going to be disappointed.
