I am a big critic of Adobe for some serious reasons:They invented LSOs- the nasty supercookies.Their business model involves hammering captive consumers with ludicrous prices. I oppose cracked software but they almost invite it with that behavior. Many of their products and services are riddled with problems- including a long history of security holes.
Their product "Flash" is renowned for its huge number of vulnerabilities and shit patching: Flash has been involved in most recent major security problems (hacks, data theft, server hijacking) - more so than any other framework.
(They also attempt to install Norton's crapware along with Flash, which makes them look like cheap shareware frauds.)
I seriously suggest uninstalling this piece of shit software.
As a result, you will see much fewer animated ads, and you will no longer be vulnerable to Flash ad malware. Win-Win!
Historically, Adobe has had a horrible reputation for site navigation and user experience. Todays site is vastly improved over the 2005 (a text book example of what not to do) but leaved much to be desired in its present web effort. For a company of in this field and with these resources, Adobe should be ashamed of this site.
Two thumbs down.
A great company website that has many computer programs for educational institutions and updates for many other Adobe products, including Adobe AIR, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader, and Adobe Shockwave Player.
