The site is a good one for discovering alternatives- but take the reviews with a grain of salt.
Also as time marches on it appears that they are failing to weed out old outdated software.
The site still is a good one- but not quite what it should be.

Type the program's name and you can get a description for it and programs that are capable of doing similar things. This website is entirely safe, and it even puts warnings on programs based on their admin team and WOT!

Great site to find alternatives to crappy and free software, but some of these are outdated. e.g. They say Light Works is paid software, but it s now free. And they say N.C.H. Software products are free, but now they are not anymore.
Yes, N.C.H. is not free. They DID let you downgrade to free version, but now it isn't there anymore.

Great site. Gives lists of alternative programs for (almost) every operating system, small descriptions of them and proper links to a vendor's homepage. Further research is up to you. Try it. Type in WOT and get alternatives to WOT and/or other things that may supplement web safety as well.
