I have been with hotmail since 1998 and have experienced all the pros and cons for this site. The site is good, but lacks some of the security and filters that other webmail sites offer. I know most people use hotmail for their JUNK account, so a lot of spam, phishing and scam mail is not reported because people will go months between logins. Just stay vigilant and only check solicited mail and you should have an enjoyable experience. P.S. Sometimes when I am bored I will read some of the mail I get from unsolicited sources.
