Scam website, it has nothing to do with the real Bitcoin. If you want info about Bitcoin you can find it elsewhere. These clown are just leeching of off Bitcoin trying to get you to buy their altcoin. The site has nothing to do with Bitcoin what so ever.
Bitcoin.com is a scam because it's not about butcoin but BCH. The operator is a known scammer, attempting to trick users into buying BCH and telling them it is Bitcoin. It is not, and unsuspecting users are losing money because of it. www.Bitcoin.org is suggested instead if users want to learn about Bitcoin.
This is a scam site, you are not buying Bitcoins (BTC) here. You are buying BitcoinCash (BCH) which IS NOT BITCOIN.
Take care, this IS NOT THE OFFICIAL BITCOIN WEBSITE, THIS IS A SCAM SITE
ORIGINAL BITCOIN WEBSITE: www.bitcoin.org
Beware of this site. "Bitcoin Cash" is not Bitcoin. Make sure to know the difference between these two virtual currencies before you invest any money in "Bitcoin Cash" aka BCASH. This site is an attempt to confuse the masses. It would be like selling shares in a new company called "Amazon Store" and trying to pass it off as Amazon stock. If you purchase Bitcoin make sure you are purchasing true Bitcoin with a ticker of BTC, do not get fooled into purchase Bcash which has a ticker of BCH. Know the difference, , and tread carefully.
Bitcoin forked in August 2017. Now there are two versions, and both say they are the "original". One version (developed by Bitcoin Core) has moved slowly away from Bitcoin's original vision, evolving into some kind of store-of-value-only thing. The new version (Bitcoin Cash), which Bitcoin.com promotes, is a peer-to-peer electronic cash system (as described in the original whitepaper). Supporters of the Bitcoin Core group claim that the person driving the car gets to name the road trip. Bitcoin Cash supporters are getting out of the car and going to the original destination, and calling it the original trip. They're both right.
Warning, bitcoin.com is trying to do bait and switch.
Cryptocurrency "bitcoin cash" (which is incompatible remake of Bitcoin) is being referred to as the real "bitcoin".
Bitcoin (BTC) costs today 8300 USD,
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) goes for 1000-1800 USD.
BCH is not BTC. Do not get phished into installing BCH wallet and into buying BCH if you are looking for the Bitcoin (BTC) as site name suggests.
This is a known scam site - it can cheat people into purchasing something they believe to be something else. The potential to lose a lot of money unwittingly should be reason enough for it to be closed down.
This is a scam site! Bitcoin Cash on default. You are buying Bitcoin, but it's Bitcoin Cash! Take care!
It's commercial site. Original NOT COMMERCIAL site for BITCOIN - www.bitcoin.org

Among currently (November, 2017) popular Bitcoin sites, Bitcoin.com is perhaps rare in its objectiveness and completeness. Most of the dominant sites and social media outlets in the space (Bitcoin.org, reddit.com/r/Bitcoin, bitcointalk.org, and en.bitcoin.it, to name a few) are either directly controlled by or closely coordinated with a user who goes by the handle "theymos", which may or may not still be controlled by IRL Michael Marquardt. Theymos and his cohorts support heavy censorship to push their preferred narrative (possibly driven by financial motivations). If you'd like to read an unscripted, uncensored source, give Bitcoin.com a try.
By they way, the negative reviews here seem heavily brigaded by users (or sock puppets) from the aforementioned censored Bitcoin sites. Take a look at the site for yourself, and then you can fairly judge if all those negative reviews are on the level.
The site, while named "bitcoin.com" misdirects users into using an alt-coin called Bcash (sometimes called "Bitcoin Cash").
I find this to be pretty fraudulent behavior while those who want bcash to rise in price will perhaps disagree.
Great website for Bitcoin! It has a lot of explanatory info for new people like myself. I also downloaded their Bitcoin Wallet from iTunes and it works awesome. No problems here and I was even able to use Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Cash which was neat!
