Can I just add another category ? Ethical Issues and Spyware/Adware. Their installer wrapper is not created to make user experience easy as they stated on their website. Their wrapper is a load of crapware that installs more crapware to your PC.
I suggest another alternatives out there like FileHippo or Softpedia to avoid confusion between what's really a clean application and a clean application wrapped in a bloated crapware installer.

Cnet doesn't offer direct links to their downloads! Their push you to download the CBS Interactive Download Manager - which is AdWare. Also you can't actually find any direct link to the developer of software which is unbelievable! It's better to stay far away from this bullshit at Cnet!
For some more information on this AdWare check at: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/c-t-tech-talk/cnet-downloads-pushing-adware/t.74094243/
I'm wondering what the deuce they think at Cnet to do this...
