Sometimes bad people will rename files and then upload them to cnet, so you think you are getting one program when it is really a virus. NOT GOOD

They use to have a lot of un-scanned files and contained mostly viruses but then cnet took over and i would say about 80% of the content is safe but on occasion I still find a virus on the site.

It's a good site, but its just like all the rest of the update sites, full of crap you don't need and the occasional thing you want. And now with the added headache of cnet trying to bombard you with ad after ad.
