Elakiri is a Sri Lankan forum which is quite popular among many Sri Lankans, particularly among Sinhalese. This site is a very good informative site for latest trends in Srilanka as many people all around the country posts in here, but this site acts as a typical bar where fights are inevitable. almost always someone or a group of people fights with each other using very heavy filthy language. I am saying like this because this site has a lot of rude, violent, racist, sexist people who constantly blame other groups. a lot of Buddhists in this site hate Muslims and Christians, Christians hate Muslims and Muslims hate both other groups. so the racism is endless, but usually, Buddhists are the most racist group in this website as they represent the majority. They blame Muslims for everything. they don't have to have a reason for that. if a random Muslim died because of an accident, a lot of racists come their and cheers and enjoy the death like a bunch of barbarians. it sickens me. These people are also sexist therefore if you are a woman, you have to be careful in this site. There is this guy called Rattaran who always blames women because of a fault of a single woman if his wife did something wrong, he opens a new thread and blames every single woman. If his wife's mom did something wrong, he blames moms of every single wife. These people are extremely rude as well. there is a reputation system in this website which is made for giving reputation for those who did something good, but these people abuse it by giving negative reputations with very filthy language. they blame your mother, use very heavy rude, filthy language, if you are a normal regular person, you might probably cry. so please don't send your children to this website, if you can handle keyboard warriors and their bad language, then this is a good place to find Srilankan information, but if you want a decent place to make a civilized conversation, then this PLACE isn't for you. the admin doesn't do anything. he only acts if someone blames his site. I heard that he spies on people and collects private information of many users so there is no privacy in this website as well. There are a lot of scammers in this site well. Some people spread software with malware hidden in them, I remember there is this guy called Sachith, he used to spread malware and backdoor software in the community. So be careful in this site. and I strongly recommend everyone to avoid this site and find something alternative.

Frankly, Admin of this web page attempt to maintain good conversation among Sri Lankan society. But users keep upload bogus and useless things. Sometime, contains semi nude or mostly nudity, items or forums. Not recommend for children under 13 without parental guidance.
