Le site fabric.com est-il sûr ?

As much as I love Amazon, who owns or is affiliated *****, and have had numerous good customer experiences during the past 16 or 17 years of shopping at Amazon I expected the same from *****. Today, I received an email from ***** canceling a portion of my order. In most circumstances that would be okay, but when shopping for fabric I tend to order colors that coordinate. I did so when I placed my order. ***** without asking me first, canceled a portion of my order leaving behind the coordinated thread and fabric for the remaining portion of the order. They then proceeded to prepare the order for shipment while I was on the telephone trying to contact customer service. When I finally managed to contact *****'s customer service the first time, after an almost 20 minute wait, I was told it was too late to cancel the order and to refuse delivery. I stated I wanted the order canceled and to have all charges refunded to my credit card. The clerk said she would attempt to do this but had to contact her supervisor. We were then disconnected for whatever reason. I called a second time and had to wait another approximately 20 minutes. This clerk was a bit more helpful and assured me the order had been canceled and would not be shipped. I will give Fabric.com credit for trying as in Fabric.com's favor they did attempt to contact me, but my phone was busy as I was on "hold" waiting for customer assistance. I called a third time after receiving an email from Fabric.com telling me my order had shipped. This was after I was promised the order had been canceled and was not going to be shipped. During the third call I was assured the order had been canceled and was not going to be shipped. I am waiting to see if the order does arrive. I am very surprised Amazon's affiliated/owned company Fabric.com seemed to provide such choppy and somewhat inadequate service. In the future, I will place small orders to see what happens. As of now, I am wary to place a large order as that order may, or may not, arrive.

I have shopped here for the last 8 years. I get many coupons by email and being a customer for so long. But lately this company has been cancelling my orders with I buy the 35 dollars worth of fabric to get free shipping, and use a coupon, Often time they will just cancel my order. Claiming its out of stock. Even when on the website show plenty instock. I make custom orders. I had the customer create an account and buy the fabric herself and had here ship to me, her order went thru and was shipped to me. What is up fabric.com??? Picking and choosing who can purchase your fabric based on who uses a coupon and doesn't. People who don't get there fabric sent first. UNFAIR, I am not using this site again.

I have purchased LOTS of fabric from this company for several years, now, and have never had a bad experience. They communicate well and always let me know immediately if they have fewer yards than I need and give me the opportunity to decide whether to cancel the item or take what is available. I trust them and generally buy fabric online from Fabric.com, only.
