Super portal, jednak może posiadać nieodpowiednie materiały dla najmłodszych. Nie można też powiedzieć, że należy ufać facebookowi, gdyż jednak w jakiś sposób śledzi nasze poczynania w sieci jeśli się na to godzimy. Może też zawierać elementy nienawiści i braku tolerancji.

While I love facebook and would miss my friends if I no longer had an account, I've been quite disturbed for some time, that facebook refuses to remove antisemitic pages, such as "Death to Israel" and others. In May of last year, a page called for the invasion of Israel and murder of Jews. Thousands of us reported it. Even a cursory review of the page indicated that it violated facebook's terms and conditions. If speech were completely free on the social network, then we'd all have to put up with this hatred. But, it's not. Hate-speech is forbidden according to those terms and conditions. Facebook has repeatedly sent messages to me and my friends that they've found nothing inappropriate at these many pages. We've been reporting them for several years. I recall a page entitled "Those Who Receive Welfare and Food Stamps Should Not be Allowed to purchase cigarettes and alcohol with government subsidies." While I didn't "like" the page, facebook soon removed it for being "racist." But, nowhere on the page was their any reference to minorities. It was simply a page created and commented on by fiscal conservatives. I am also concerned with facebook's supposed "privacy" rules, where we lose more protection with each new issuance of those rules. I subscribe to Facecrooks and I have learned the details of what I consider an offense. Fortunately, I have several facebook blockers on my page, so I'm not tracked. I have also shut down my page for maximum privacy and would never use an app. See facecrooks for more information on these. I hope this helps. As I said, I love being on facebook. But, one must be very careful. As my mentor from 30 years ago told me, "never put anything in writing that you don't want to see on the front page of the morning newspaper." I never have. I believe that the age for children should be raised to 16 years of age, instead of being 13 years old. If a child has never been online before, they're easily conned into accepting a person as a friend; they may not know how to set up their privacy settings and etc; or about the videos that have viruses on them; may fall for hoaxes; and etc. People need to set their privacy settings to friends, and check other things out. Like an email/message that's a hoax and etc.

I have mixed feelings about facebook. From one perspective, the company themselves do not distribute viruses, they tell you that posting explicit content is against the terms of service, they do not scam you, and they do not send true spam out. That being said, the users and app developers on facebook are not so safe. The users will ignore the warnings about no explicit media, the app developers can take control of your account or distribute viruses or other malware. They do track you to the extreme, and they collect and distribute your personal information. The bottom line: be careful if you use facebook... I use it, but I am very careful what I do and post when I am logged into my facebook account.

This is a wonderful site and I have been shopping on it for years and find it very trustworthy. I believe after reading my post and that of others, the rating should be changed from red to green. As to safe for children , this site is for adults and children should not be on a shopping site.

a popular social network which allows you to connect with distant/close friends round the world! with many in-built security features, like the use of WOT, multiple antiviruses' scanners for third party opinion, abusive photos and malicious links are largely limited. that said, some still slip by and users should still be cautious when clicking around.

Facebook has privacy concerns whatever you post on here no longer belongs to you so bear that in mind when you post pictures of your new baby etc , also we have all read the papers and we are all aware that facebook give / or sell our private information , whether it be to government bodies or an advertising company no thing is private on facebook. Also alot of the ads on facebook are totally unsuitable, for example adverts for sex chat lines or sex web cams that sort of thing.
