Le site facebook.com est-il sûr ?

Facebook is a good social network, its problem is the privacy. Facebook keeps a lot of personal data of you and can sale them or give it for authorities. They track you everywhere, furthermore, you should take care with the informations that you share, strange can use them to damage you.

While I use fb to keep in contact w/relatives, I do not think children under the age of 16 should be using this site. There are too many holes in the system--too many ways that child predators can gain access to a vulnerable child who's parents have allowed them onto a social networking site like this. It is amazing how many ways one may find out very intimate (as in personal-not sexual) details of a person's life, without that person knowing or even being "friends" with someone! I also cannot stand the constant "suggestions" of products, sites, and friends that keep popping up in my news feed and along the side bars--we all know they have to pay for the site, but it is still troubling. Also, the suggestive and lewd pictures that fb allows for people to post is not good for children (or adults) either.

Like Facebook to keep up with friends and family but very concerned about Privacy! It should be made much clearer which parts are seen by whom! I would like to share more but the risk of my personal photos or stories of my life ending up in the hands of people I don't want them to is just not good!
