Le site facebook.com est-il sûr ?

Though FaceBook is the best site in my opinion; but I am discussing an issue of adding adultive contents (like photos and videos) and site links by user that really does not ensure safety to the children and it is making the site value downwords. Authority must do something to prevent those things and prevent spamming out there.

Paranoid much? its Facebook! 99.9% of all sites collect some sort of info from you, and since you create a PERSONAL profile, any pictures you see as 'inappropiate' would only be on your friends wall or picture gallery, so if you think its inappropiate, block your friends!!! and ads? FACEBOOK IS FREE!!! how do you think they pay for this stuff? and im so tired of everything being deemed 'kid unsafe'. the internet is what it is, and just like the real world, 99.9% of it is unsuitable for children. well, we havent shut down 99.9% of the world have we? raise your kids with knowledge instead of fear, and you have nothing to worry about. see you on FB!!

With all of the creeps out there and people who post nasty comments and foul language this site is not safe at all for children. I would not let my kids be on it until they are in their late teens. Also, the point of the site defeats the purpose of privacy so how can anyone say it is safe in regards to that.

Very popular social networking site. But so much fake accounts that you can't rely on anyone. Annoying adds and much abusing stuffs. So much unorthodox for children that they could be miss lead. Its so open that there is no restriction. But much entertaining to all aged people.
