Le site facebook.com est-il sûr ?

Sadly teenagers get there not being aware about how they are tempted into giving away all their personal details, even about family members and family connections - which can be very dangerous if people with bad intentions go use that information. FB should point out more strongly how sensitive private information should not be spit out that easily. (but of course this is against their financial interests).

I am an active Facebooker and many people would agree with me when I say that Facebook is a pretty fun and entertaining site. However, they can do better to help improve some privacy issues. There are way too many FB applications that are requesting to use our personal information, which I think is not even necessary. I also think that they can improve on child safety because I come across some wild and crazy stuff on Facebook that I pray that no young children would ever get to see until they are 18 years old. I guess that is just the risk of being on the internet, not just using Facebook. Lol.

Facebook is an excellent site for connecting to long lost friends. I've found quite a few. But I don't trust them with my information, and I am concerned about their changing privacy policies. I know they want to make money, but selling customer information to the highest bidders, is not the way to go. So I don't fully trust them.

Great for social networking with people all over the world. Sometimes i might come across some explicit pictures on someone's profile or see people using profanity. They do need to tighten up on the spamming. I've seen many profiles hacked with spam. But for the most part Facebook is a great network and I enjoy the site. One of my favorites.
