Le site followbright.com est-il sûr ?

This is a HIGHLY-REPUTABLE company that was victimized by unscrupulous 3rd parties. I do not belong to this company, but I am aware of their situation because I have worked with them and personally interviewed their (raving, very happy) clients. The low WOT rating is the result of fraudulent link-building specifically designed to hurt them. WOT needs to do the right thing, remove those unethical or fraudulent reports, and restore the Followbright WOT reputation. Back history: Followbright (then called Time for Cake) maintained a blog article cautioning people about an unscrupulous phone directory scheme that was regularly generating a lot of money for unneeded services. Kind of like those fake invoice-looking things businesses get in the mail regularly. The article was immensely popular because so many people received these frightening mailers, so the article eventually rose to the #2 spot on Google, second only to the unscrupulous company's web page. People REALLY appreciated being warned about it. The bad company in the meantime was added to the FTC Watch List. They hated the blog article because it was cutting off their cash flow. They sent threatening attorney letters to Followbright for years until it was discovered that the bad guys were fradulently using legal firms' name when that firm wasn't actually representing them! That legal firm got understandably angry and decided (entirely on their own) to pursue the tricksters, apparently shutting them down. However, many thousands of links suddenly appeared on porn sites linking back to Followbright's blog article and web site in an attempt to discredit them and get the blog article removed from Google. It worked. Google's algorithms dropped them without recourse, without discussion, without any human being ever carefully examining the spammy source of these backlinks, and Followbright's reputation was unjustly destroyed. Google should have hurt the SEO reputation of the backlink sites, not the victim's site! The Internet allows this kind of reputation-smearing because many large companies irresponsibly wield power without transparency or accountability. WOT should not do the same thing. WOT, do the right thing and compare this site's WOT ratings/reports against the actual content and reputation of the site and company. Then, please show us that WOT can't be manipulated by unscrupulous actors and restore Followbright's reputation. Failing to do that would only hurt YOUR reputation because your users will realize that your system is easily misused by the bad guys, so the ratings can't be fully trusted.
