Worst mainstream news site on the internet. It's like the National Enquirer, though they really believe all this crap. And they now embrace Breitbart and other extreme right-wing websites. Biased, misleading, and sexist. Fox News is propaganda for the brainwashed. Keep away.

fox news is brainwashing tool not a website

Fox news is another basic news site, I agree it has biased information but to be honest, every writer puts their opinion into everything they write, this site is a perfect example of that. Site is child friendly meaning it has no malicious content that would be deemed directly harmful. Like all other business sites it deserves at least a fair rating.

This is not the Fox News I grew up with. Fox News in no way is deserving of the status of being a News company. They are worse than tabloid 'news' as of about a decade ago. They should be reclassified as garbage media, and renamed to Fox Views. It is a far more accurate description. Fox takes the most basic of news stories and finds an intellectually irresponsible and unethical way of twisting it into something that is flat out untrue, or, at the best, 30% true. Their idea of "experts" on a subject is the biggest joke I've ever seen, having been an expert in some of the fields they have reported on (computer security, computer science, and technology). They host the most uneducated "expert" guest speakers they can find, and these speakers distort the basic knowledge that is indisputable within the given field, making them unreliable sources of information. When Fox hosts a speaker of an opposing view on their programs, they practice very tactless ways of squelching the guest, including talking [yelling] over them, cutting the conversation short, and other practices widely regarded as journalistically unethical. Their poster-child, Bill O'Reilly, has multiple lawsuits for sexual harassment, including by his former co-host, Gretchen Carlson. O'Reilly is also a wife-beater. His daughter was recorded in court documents to have seen him choking his wife. This is not surprising, given his psychological profile. He is extroverted, highly aggressive, and has anger management issues. He has only been avoiding jail time by paying off people that he sexually harasses: "The employee, Juliet Huddy, had said that Mr. O’Reilly pursued a sexual relationship with her in 2011, at a time he exerted significant influence over her career. When she rebuffed his advances, he tried to derail her career, according to a draft of a letter from her lawyers to Fox News that was obtained by The New York Times...In exchange for her silence and agreement not to sue, she was paid a sum in the high six figures, according to people briefed on the agreement. The agreement was between Ms. Huddy, 47, and 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox News. The company and Mr. O’Reilly’s lawyer said her allegations were false." Of course he said it's false. He's a compulsive liar. You have to ask yourself the question: if it was false, why did he settle out of court and pay a six-figure sum to shut her up? If he was not guilty, going to court would have been his course of action. Bill O'Reilly is the most biased and crooked media personality of the age of television. The conservatives who watch him barely understand that he receives tons of money from special interests to oversimplify complicated topics and misconstrue facts into convenient lies. Fox Network's views sit squarely within the fascist neo-nazi area of government and philosophy, after the recent election. The recent electoral events have enabled and encouraged Fox to shift their message from a conservative philosophy to outright fascism. Demographic: Fox News's intended demographic is the uneducated masses that reside primarily outside of technologically advanced cities. They cater to the emotionally-responsive, irrational, uneducated masses. If you consider yourself a person of intellect, truth, reason, and knowledge, or a visionary, you are not going to find what you're looking for at Fox Views.

My biggest issue with FoxNews is how easily visible their entertainment branch of the site is. That section of the site is definitely not suitable for children. They frequently run slideshows showing the latest bikini pictures of celebrities, or the hottest underwear model pictures. Content like that is definitely not appropriate for children. The worst part is that those slideshows are frequently featured on the home page so they will most certainly reach little one's eyes. For being a "conservative" media outlet. They sure are liberal with what they expose children to. I use cnn instead because even though it tends to have a little more liberal bias they are usually more child friendly. (Not that it doesn't have it's own problems)

Fox News consistently has the highest Arbitron ratings than all the other news stations. Somewhat to the left of the other stations except One America News Network OANN. Fox & Friends does give both sides left and right/, Fair and balanced as they say
Utile
Conservative propaganda machine that tries to hide itself as a news site. Racism, misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia.

Technically safe. However the "information" shared is appallingly inaccurate. Studies have been done that show that regular watchers of Fox News who depend on it for their news have a very poor factual grasp on current events. The reporting is not only biased, it's often absurdly inaccurate. The long time head of this "news" channel Roger Ailes has been removed from his job for sexually assaulting female employees.
Utile
Deliberately misleading at times, but okay
Utile
Content is misleading and racially discrminating

Pretty good news website for American news, seems to be the only news network in America that comes close to telling the truth. Good website!
Utile
It may not be "Fair and Balanced" all of the time, but I trust it significantly more than I trust CNN.
Utile
violent articles not suitable for kids

This is a good news page in generally.

FOX News has a history of lies. There's those that call it by childish nicknames such as Faux News, but let's simply be adults here: no show you can find on FOX is credible, and their website isn't too far behind with extremely far right articles written by those that clearly have hateful intent, even if it is beneath the surface. If you let your children on here, find a liberal site and a relatively unbiased site so they have a mix of opinions, considering children can be persuaded quite easily.

So far I find Fox News to be fair and balanced. The Factor w/Bill o’riley is my favorite show on Fox.

Tried to google for "US bombs MSF hospital in Kunduz": CNN says, "Is U.S. bombing of Afghan hospital a war crime? " Reuters says, "Obama apologizes for Kunduz attack, MSF demands independent probe." english.pravda says, "Russia bombs terrorists, USA bombs hospitals ..." ***** says, "Coverup! US Bombs Slaughter Doctors Without Borders" ***** says, "Russia Bombs Terrorists, USA Bombs Hospitals". FoxNews says, "The Latest: Confusion remains over who bombed MSF." ??? The only one confused here is Fox News. No, they just want to confuse you! You REALLY need to find alternative news sources to get a more complete picture of what goes on in the world!

24JUN2015 I have been visiting the Fox News Website for years with no issues related to trackers, pop up ads or other trackers. I slightly downgraded suitability for children because much of the website covers politics and current events. Depending on the age of the child who may not have life experience with politics, the content may be over their head. I run Win7 with Kaspersky AV and the FireFox broswer with the following Add-Ons and never am notified of nefarious activity when viewing the Fox News website: Ghostery: must leave the following enabled to view/post comments: Janrain, Livefyre, and Media Optimizer (adobe). NoScript FlashStopper AdBlocker Plus
