Beware the false and dangerous teachings promoted by many of the users/cult members on this site which claim that all of the hadiths are wrong and not to be observed. Stop and think about this for a minute, the hadith forbids the consuming of carnivorous animals that have talons or canine teeth. The animal has to be herbivorous to be Halal and an animal becomes Haram if it consumes blood and /or meat (mammal feed). The Quran doesn't mention this but only forbids pork, bloody meat, dead meat, anything that is impure (which can be interpreted in many ways), and meat slain in any name other than by God's name. The Quran also doesn't clearly forbid cannibalism. Does that mean it's God permits you to eat a human being? It's blatantly obvious that the hadith are there for a reason and they need to be observed. If you were to follow only the Quran and not the hadith, than dog, cat, hyena, lion, frog, snake, shark, bear, lizards, insects, elephants, octopuses, and the meats of other carnivorous and/or disgusting animals would be considered halal. Use your own common sense and you'll clearly see that it's obviously wrong to eat these things. What kind of God would allow you to eat any one of those creatures knowing full well how unhealthy and barbaric it is. This site is likely shia run as they are always trying to corrupt and pervert the religion by confusing the naive. Any Muslim telling you that eating dog is wrong simply because of a cultural stigma and not due to the meat itself not being halal and not forbidden by God is either misguided or a fraud with an agenda to fulfill. Dogs, cats, lizards, insects, sharks, octopuses, elephants, hyenas, bears, frogs, lions, snakes, are all absolutely disgusting and I know they are harram according to both the hadith as well as my own common sense that God gave me. God doesn't want me to eat anything disgusting or unhealthy, it says in the Quran itself that the food must be pure. If you are truly of the mindset that the only creature that is harram to eat is pork, than by all means go and eat at a restaurant in South Korea, Vietnam, or Thailand where you'll find every kind of animal and insect prepared for human consumption. You can eat dog and cat meat until your heart's content all while foolishly believing that you are committing no sin whatsoever. You'll only be fooling yourself. The fact that this site claims that only the Quran has value and the hadith have none is nothing more than a direct corruption in the obviously beneficial laws laid out by the followers of the prophet. The Quran doesn't directly forbid cannibalism but obviously it is forbidden in Islam to eat another human being. Just because the Quran doesn't directly say this, doesn't mean it's okay. That's what the hadith are for. This doesn't mean the Quran is wrong, it simply means that God didn't lay out all of his rules within it and one should obviously use their common knowledge to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong.
