You can be lucky and save a couple of bucks here, but as i learned the hard way - you can loose game after months of game play with all your unlocks and levels, and their shield is a scam, they reject any complain after hours providing proof of revoked game. DO NOT BUY HERE.

I bought a lot of games from this website, and barely any of them were disappointing. The G2A Shield is very useful only with an extra few dollars. One thing though is that they charge extra after I go onto PayPal (Only two dollars extra for some reason plus another few dollars for tax). They ads are also annoying.

Watch out for scams on this site such as ending up paying a SUBSCRIPTION for what is obviously designed to look like a one off payment. Trying to cancel this subscription is alsop made as difficult as possible. Another scam is the one that happened to me when I paid money into my G2A wallet for "g2a coins" which then are rendered unusable by their alleged "automated" security system which does not even tell THEM why it has done it!!! Trying to reverse this "automatic" theft of your own money involves jumping through so many hoops you just give up and let them keep it. Their helpdesk is extremely unhelpful, deliverately I believe. This site sells carded game keys. That means the game keys were bought with stolen credit cards and then sold to you. Sometimes game developers ban these stolen keys- ***** tries to cash in on this phenomenon with "buyer protection". The scheme that this website is running hurts both game developers by wasting their time dealing with attempts of credit card fraud and the unsuspecting buyer!

Independent researchers are discovering that G2A's acquisition of keys are falling under the more than questionable category, sometimes borderline criminal in most cases. In short, aquisition is mostly done on a fraudulent basis. This unfortunately harms the companies whose keys they are selling. This will also inadvertently mean that some keys acquired via G2A MAY NOT WORK. Trusting them is akin to trusting an alleyway vendor with your cash, you don't know if you're purchasing stolen goods, which might hurt you.

Site aux pratiques douteuses : Spam les forums et vend des clés déjà utilisées ou volées (achetées avec des numéros de cartes de crédit volées) Utilise un scam pyramidal (G2a goldmine) pour recruter des spammeurs / victimes. Un nombre impressionnant de clés achetées sur ce site sont désactivées quelques semaines ou mois après l'achat par steam, origin, battlenet etc. Ils vendent même une protection "mensuelle" appelée G2A shield qui fait qu'une clé de jeu potentiellement volée vous coutera au final plus cher que l'original achetée sur le site officiel : les 2€ (environ) de frais de G2A shield étant prélevés mensuellement que vous achetiez un jeu ou pas, font qu'en moins d'un an, vous allez vous retrouver avec une clé douteuse plus chère qu'une version originale ! Ex : un jeu à 60€ sur le site officiel se trouve à 40€ sur G2A. Si vous passez par G2A et que vous ne prenez pas Shield vous risquez tout simplement de perdre 40€. Si vous prenez Shield en revanche vous payez 40€ +2€+2€+2€... +2€ / mois ad vitam eternam ! De l'arnaque pûre et simple ! Aussi, si G2A shield est désactivé et qu'une de vos clés est invalidée par steam pour cause de clé volée, vous n'avez aucune chance de récupérer votre jeu. Même avec le Shield, de nombreux acheteurs se sont plaints d'avoir tout simplement été ignoré par le SAV de G2A. A vos risques et périls...

A lot of people don't seem to trust this site, but they should be not trusting the people on the marketplace, is the thing. The website itself is fully trust able, and I've had no bad experiences with this website. All you have to do is be wary of what you're buying.

The site will occasionally sell illegal, stolen keys and capitalises on the unstable nature of the keys by charging extra fees for "G2A sheild" which provides a warranty and protects payment information. The prices that are displayed are only the lowest price and the actual prices of the keys are chosen by "trustworthiness". Customer service in retrieval of keys was a complete nightmare to manage. Avoid this site, there are plenty of other key sellers and even steam itself if you want access to cheap games.

G2A is a shady place. As you know it's not developers selling their games, it's people reselling game keys. But do you know how the keys are obtained? There are 3 ways I know that keys that you get sold on G2A are acquired. 1) As you might you, credit cards are stolen all the time on the internet but instead of taking directly the money, which would be a bad idea because of protection systems, scammers simply buy a lot of keys from the developer with the stolen credit cards (Ubisoft scandal, for example), and resell them on G2A. The money is revoked from the developer and the scammer flies away with the money. Basically in this case you're whitening dirty money by buying on G2A, and there's a risk that the developer will get angry like Ubisoft and revoke all the keys. 2) Games on Humble Bundle are cheap. You can get like 5 keys for 1$. So some people from third world countries decided that it would be "smart" to make this their job, and buy tons of keys on Humble Bundle for cheap to resell them later for more than 1$. That's just parasiting the whole market. 3) Developers also sometimes do giveaways. The developers of Orion: Prelude for example, a game available for 1$ of Steam, decided that it would be a great idea to give hundreds of thousand of keys. Now you can find them everywhere on G2A for around 1$. Basically, people are just gathering as many keys as they can from the giveway, which defeats its purpose, to then resell them for the greedy price of slightly lower than the original price of the game. So, by supporting G2A, you might actually get keys that work for cheap but you're supporting all the bad stuff on the internet, from people trying to steal your credit card to people taking all the keys from giveaways and selling to you things that they got cheaper on Humble Bundle. You're just creating parasite jobs in third-world countries instead of encouraging people to have an useful job, like making videogames for example. Also you got 50% chances that the key won't work. Is that really what you want? G2A is NOT a grey market. It's a black market. Don't let people sell somebody else's product. Give money to the developers. Don't encourage credit card fraud...
