It tracks what you search for so you can search more easily next time because it will bring up a list of your most frequent and most recent searches. If you haven't noticed, your browser also does that with websites. Oh My Gosh! YOUR BROWSER IS SPYWARE! OH NO! DESTROY ALL YOUR LINKS TO THE INTERNET! People need to educate themselves before making any "expert" topics. Cookies are not viruses - they are not harmful, but everyone puts the blame on them when something bad happens. All malicious cookies are cookies, but not all cookies are malicious cookies.

Google is a search engine, and like any good search engine, you can find virtually anything and everything. Google does a pretty good job of filtering out adult content, but the fact remains that everything is obtainable by google search. Parents should take caution.

Great search engine. I see many pointless red ratings for it. To make an accurate search engine rating, rate it for search accuracy, not the matching(and possibly dangerous) items. (Google warns about most of those bad sites.)If you search for adult content, that's what you get.
