Lots of great, free, public domain books. If you want a book for your kindle, or nook, this is the place to go. Gutenberg is very fast, and you can download thousands of free ebooks. No ads, or popups, and is safe for children. Excellent site!

Website dedicated to conserve and spread copyright free literature. Non-profit and many truly dedicated helpers. Some books are of adult nature and might not be suitable for children.

Most of the pages are not found. I tried searching Authors starting with "V", the page returned the error 403.
