Healthspan.co.uk spammed my site with links to their site in an attempt to manipulate their Google rankings and admitted it in an email they sent to me (full text of their email below)
What makes you people (Healthspan) think you have the right to spam other websites with links and what makes you people think that there will not be legal consequences for the damages your link spamming does to other websites??? News flash: there are legal consequences for your link spamming.
email received from Healthspan's SEO company:
"Warning: Our Site was Penalized By Google!

I think my actions might soon create a Terms of Service violation for your website from Google. In seeking to create as much traffic for my website as possible, I engaged in manipulative SEO practices which understandably resulted in Google’s penalty. The penalty may soon spread to your website as a result of the backlinks to http://healthspan.co.uk which can be found at the following locations:
