The Heartland Institute (heartland.org) has a reputation for financing the creation and publishing of misinformation about climate change and global warming. ***** has a documented record of being clandestinely financed by a Who’s Who of the fossil fuel industry (see links). The fossil fuel industry advocate continuing unlimited burning of fossil fuels on a global scale. Continued unlimited burning of fossil fuels on a global scale increasingly represents an unacceptable threat to the stability of critical global biodiversity and the quality of human existence. Consequently, I consider heartland.org to be immoral, remorseless and appalling. Can the site also be described as ‘safe’? I say NO. This site is an American conservative and libertarian organization which promotes conspiracy theory, political disinformation, gossip, rumour and innuendo for the sake of corporate clients. I share the feeling of others that the negative views are about censorship, not harmful content. To be fair, Statista, the NY Times, all other liberal news sites should be shut down too. If Woot continues its signal that this is a dangerous site, I will remove Woot from my extensions and tell my extended community of follows to do the same, since Woot has become overly politicized. I'll check back in a month.

This web site is for those who believe in freedom, America and personal responsibility. The communist/socialist faction in America will attack any person or site that espouses Freedom and free will. There is Nothing Wrong with this website. It simply present a viewpoint based on freedom, which the democrats and communist/socialists who want to take away your freedom can never allow to exist. Is heartland.org Safe? Yes, if you are a discriminating person. Do I love this site? No, I believe this site is likely promoting highly questionable theories that mostly serve special interests ... but aren't these reviews supposed to be about safety and appropriateness, and not censorship?

This is one of the best sites for understanding the politics and science of all things Climate. By all means your children should be instructed with the material from this site. Sound Science. This is the go to group if you want to know the truth about climate. The only reason this site has less than four stars is because it does not support the presuppositions of Climate Crisis or the Green New Deal, neither of which is supported by science that is empirical data.

I was shocked to find this website had a 'NOT SAFE' rating by WOT. The only reason given in the reviews that resulted in the website being flagged is that the worldview and positions on Global Warming held by the Heartland Institute are contrary to the mainstream view. This is the same kind of thinking that led to the Spanish Inquisition: If you disagree with the dogma of the ruling class, you will be ostracized and punished.

Claiming CO2 is not harming the climate is wrong and harmful. The ignorant and scientifically illiterate may take it as a true source of info, and cast doubt on science itself. Its not 'just another point of view' its disinformation intended to obstruct the advancement of scientific solutions.

This site presents a different viewpoint than what the misguided (one-world-green/ecosites) offer, so they gang up and report it as a bad site. This is just another harmless web site, unless you believe the propaganda being tossed around by the so-called 'green' sites, who claimed and continue to claim, the end of the world is coming because the climate is changing due to human caused damage and pollution. (Now By 2030. For Sure This Time. Really. Trust Us. We Have “Scientific Studies”) These are same sort of people who swore that coastal areas worldwide would be under twenty feet of water by 2016. They are fanatics who malign anyone who disagrees with them. I believe we humans have done some damage, but that we have caused damage to the extent needed to destroy the world, in my opinion, is lunacy by mentally impaired people or hypocrites trying to fleece others to get money.
