This is the National Rifle Association's site. The NRA is controversial in the United States due to political views (and many don't agree with anything the NRA promotes), but the site itself is okay.

Only interested in personal protection, not herd protection. Guns can provide protection against mass shootings and intruders, however, unfortunately, NRA does not recognise that crazy people can get guns just as easily as sane people.
