Misleading and untruthful claims and downright fabrication Most of these claims have been refuted by clinical testing The basis of homeopathy is implausible at best and there is no scientific basis for it and no proper clinical trials to back it up There is no medical condition for which it is useful other than as a placebo e.g. the UK House of Commons Select Committee & the Australian Medical Association both agreed (among many others) that it had no practical use and could distract patients from seeking proper medical attention so should not be available as mainstream medical care. It IS dangerous because homeopaths are not qualified doctors, give bad medical advice, and patients delay seeking proper medical care. Anyway, do people realize that the 'treatment' is so diluted at 30C and 'above' that there is NO molecule of the 'active' (so-called) ingredient left in the dilution? In other words the liquid/tablet is pure water/sugar! To claim that water has a memory to get round this is facile - there is NO evidence for this and if true it would mean the same water would retain memory of sewerage, slurry pits etc etc. - an unpleasant corollary.

Promotes pseudoscience using questionable methods (100 million Europeans believe in #homeopathy? Really? Where's the evidence for this? What difference does it make to the uselessness of a therapy?). Misleading, potentially dangerously so, as forsaking real medicine for #quackery can cause needless suffering, maim or kill.

Informative. Nearly didn't look at it because of poor rating. Appears that it is just the Anti Homeopathy brigade at work. This is where WOT fails for me. I do not want to open virus, scam or dodgy sites. BUT I DO NOT want bigot campainers deterring me from reading things I find interesting

1. No privacy policy 2. Accepts donations but doesn't describe for what/how money is disbursed, or to whom. Organization status is not published (charity? business?) 3. Perpetuates fallacious idea that homeopathy is somehow useful 4. Perpetuates same tired anti-vaccination screeds with little to no backup 5. Encourages people to avoid evidence based medicine These are the reasons I, and I am assuming many others, do not trust this site.

Can someone please explain to me why with so many positive comments and so few negative ones that this site has been given a poor reputation by WOT? It appears that there is an orchestrated campaign by ignorant & prejudiced opponents of homeopathy to discredit ALL homeopathy sites on the internet, in order to discourage WOT users from entering these extremely valuable sites. Such hijacking of the ratings process (presumably by mass negative voting from the medical establishment, or the highly corrupt pharmaceutical industry) only succeeds in discrediting WOT, who should be aware of these fishy goings-on, and find a way of restoring credibility to their ratings!
