Le site immunet.com est-il sûr ?

First of all this website is not malicious. Unfortunately Immunet relies on Clamwin for offline virus detection and Clamwin is very poor, especially on Windows. I have been plagued by false positives and a runaway log creation process filling hard disks. Detection rates are also amongst the worst for any antivirus software. The only benefit of Immunet that I see is it's possibly the only free (as in free beer and as in unencumbered) anti-virus software that is legal to use in a business environment. Believe me it is worth paying for something better. There is also no support for business users. For non-business users there are also far better free solutions.

The software is clean, but my firewall detected some IPs coming from Savvis on the main site, so it prevented the page from loading. Savvis is a spam network and a data miner, which is exactly the kind of stuff Immunet should be fighting against! Also, after some time running Immunet Antivirus, Comodo detected a couple of viruses and deleted some elements of the program. I think it may have been a false positive motivated by unsportsmanlike marketing though.

in my experience, this has been an anti-piracy scam. the software is rather bad at detecting actual viruses, however, it blocks every software crack and patch it can find. most of those aren't viruses at all. Conclusion: this software has been devised and is sponsored by groups covertly combating piracy online. if you intend on using cracked software and would actually like to have a real virus protection, and not simply an illusion, get your antivirus somewhere else

I saw people gave bad ratings for FP taken by other AV. One of the best Antivirus FREE. Now the 3.0 has brought a bit of fresh air. Good Job, Orlando

I recently installed Immunet 3.0, on top of Norton, which are said to be compatible with one another. However, Norton has just detected and removed two heuristic viruses originating from clamAV temp files stored on my computer. I no longer trust this software, and will uninstall it as soon as I finish posting this. I do, however, sincerely hope that this was a mistake made by Norton, and that Immunet IS a safe product. I'm not taking any chances though...
