I find nothing on this website to be "dangerous." It will not harm or hijack your computer. Most of the information is geared toward helping an individual reclaim or maintain health through lifestyle changes. In fact I will be recommending this site for others to visit. I personally have been let down by pharmaceuticals (both statins and anti-depressants), so I resent the idea that WOT is being used to dissuade others from visiting the site. While I did find one "anti-vaccine" article, I had to look for it -- it certainly wasn't "in my face" so I think it's ridiculous to discourage people from visiting the site solely for its perceived "anti-vaxx" agenda. And as the parent of an autistic child who I think was harmed by a vaccine, I don't see why a tool like WOT should be used to suppress the ideas and opinions of people who question the safety and efficacy of vaccines. There's no content to interest a child, so in that regard the site is unsuitable for children, but there's no need to "protect" a child from visiting this website.

Dr Brogan, despite impressive credentials, seems to have devoted most of her career to promoting alternative medicine. Quite simply, "alternative medicine" is substances and procedures which have either not been proven to work, or have been proven not to work. She opposes the practice of vaccination. About flu vaccines, she says "I’m sure you don’t know a single person who has died of the flu." I did. I loved her very much. She died in the first wave of H1N1, and yes, Dr B, it was laboratory-confirmed.

This doctor's writings are rife with logical fallacies, statistical errors, and demonstrate a profound inability to honestly interpret scientific material. She frequently distorts or invents results from scientific papers to falsely report that vaccines are ineffective and unsafe. She “cherry-picks” those few articles that seem to support her positions, ignoring innumerable studies that contradict her beliefs. She appears not to have read or understood many of the articles she sites in support of her positions. On further examination, they often do not say what she claims they do- or she selectively quotes a sentence or two from the article to completely distort it. In favor of her positions, she uses random internet anecdotes. She rails against Big Pharma, but has hidden, unethical links with "Big Device." What on earth is a psychiatrist doing writing articles that repeat all the tired old anti-vaccination lies? This site is profoundly anti-science and it's a danger to public health and safety. Avoid this site if you value your own health and that of your children.
