DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS HACK OF A SITE! After reading the reviews I see others had hacked email accounts with some twat saying he had pics of my playing whack a mole with myself whilst watching a dirty porn site! I’m old and knew it was a joke because I don’t look at that crap. It never got me leads, turns out it in the uk not the us. Save yourself a headache don’t sign up!!!!

I find it a good site and probably the only one that has given me new business

I had the same experience as jayallnb. I had a unique password that proved which site was the source of the malicious email attempt. I was targeted with the identical email. Listedin clearly has a problem. I'm actually not sure it is anything but a data mining site.

Three weeks ago I received an email with the password I used to create an account on listedin.biz in the Subject: line. The reason I know listedin.biz was hacked is because (fortunately for me), I create unique "junk" passwords when it's necessary to have an account to explore a site's services. I sent listedin.biz an email using one of my other junk mail accounts telling them about their compromised security. They did not respond. The actual phishing email was remarkable for its chutzpah: o It claimed it had pictures of me visiting a porn site. o It claimed that unless I sent $1900.00 to a BitCoin account, they would send these pictures to everyone in my contacts. o It claimed the email had a 'unique pixel' that would tell the sender that I had opened the email. After reading the full email headers and the full raw message source, I determined that the email was entirely plain-text, so this part of the threat was complete bullshit. Ruefully, I have to admit I was upset for about 1/2 hour, until I realized that I was fine ignoring the whole thing. However, I did take one action. The scammer was stupid enough to use a legitimate ***** account, so I sent the entire raw email source to ***** (Microsoft). They were kind enough to inform me that they suspended the account. Hopefully that will remove it and file extortion charges (but doubt it and I have better things to do with my time). ***** lists no contact phone or any physical office address or any useful information on its site or in its whois listing. The fact that they did respond to my email showing the data breech (I sent the original email to them), indicates that the site (which apparently is based in England) does not care about protecting its users. ADVICE: 1. If you have to create an account on a site to explore its services, always create a unique password in a pattern you can recognize later. 2. Create and use a junk mail account for the purpose.
