Firefox dl page. All top notch, give it a go. If you don't already use Firefox as your browser, I g'tee you'll like it better than In***net Ex*****r!! Just the plugins that can be used with firefox (like adblock plus) make it the best browser by far. Oh, and it's all FREEEE!! I bloody hate ads, popups etc. I bloody lurve you, Mozilla.

I view any vendor suspicious that takes over the start page of your browser. REGARDLESS if it is to info user of NEW or IMPROVED. To be constantly shoved into the user's face without the ability to stop the browser from doing it EVERY time it is opened. I stopped MS exploiter browser usage due to this garbage and now it looks like I will have to do the same with Firefox. What a shame as it was a good product. So yes I view this as an ethical issue whenever an app doesn't allow for the user to opt out of a click thru screen.

I've observed that WOT is allowing peoples OPINIONS decide whether or not a website is safe. For example, if I go to scientology.org, WOT pops up a warning that the site has been rated a high risk to visit. Some people's OPINIONS declare that Scientology is a ruse, a fake, brainwashing and such. This has NO basis in fact. Even if it did, it has no bearing on whether or not the website is safe to visit as regards the risk of getting a virus, worm, key logging, malware, etc. There's NO evidence or proof that going to this website or others that are actually safe (no computer threats, not opinion on the content) will produce computer problems or hacked accounts. So I suggest that WOT do what it should do... warn people of actual or potential pc and personal harm from website functionality, not website content. And provide a website rating for sexual and violent content. Thank you.
