Those reporting adware obviously don't care enough to realize what they're putting on their own computers.
The features are great, some are very useful, others simply make your chatting a lot easier/look better.
What's more, It's free! Just give a little more attention and READ while installing and you'll be getting a much more pleasant experience in life. Same goes for other programs out there. ; )

If you download and the install the sponsor you can end up with TDSS Trojan-rootkit being installed, from url links. The anti-virus provider eset NOD32 product classify the download as a form of virus. If you have the virus try using TDSSKiller by Kampersky to clean it.

Wonderful utility for MSN (now called Windows Live Messenger). the ***** toolbar is optional and is only a sponsor of the software. Just unclick that option when you install MSN+ and you're good to go.

I use their product with Windows Live Messenger. It's actually a great product; just don't install the optional adware that it comes with. At least this site is kind enough to give you the choice; many others aren't.

Great software and an essential add-on to Messenger. Those saying "Malicious content, viruses" need to get a clue. At no time EVER has Messenger Plus contained Malicious Content or Viruses. What it has contained (in the installer), is Optional Adware to support the product. It doesn't install unless you explicitly choose the Yes option (no option is chosen by default). If you're going to rate it negatively, at least do so accurately and choose the "Spyware or adware" option.

Just make sure you only install msgplus, none of that extra sponsor crap! Uncheck those boxes when you install. It is perfectly safe for your computer and I really like it.

I never got a virus and I think it's pretty good. I don't really know... because my computer warned me not to install the toolbar so...I think it's ok on child safety, but trustworthiness and stuff, its not good
